  • Management of credit checks, fraud prevention systems and other technical payment processes and, in particular, their strategic further development
  • Responsibility for securing the entire customer journey from pre-auth to post-auth via capture mechanisms through to after-sales activities - across all payment types and channels
  • Interface and contact person for all interdisciplinary projects such as country launches, store openings, etc. as well is briefing the requirements to the payment teams
  • Responsibility for the roadmap for necessary internal system improvements in coordination with the product and IT teams
  • Contributing to the development of the Group-wide online and in-store payment strategy
  • Developing strategically relevant business cases for the Group as a whole
  • Strategic and structural development of the team including the introduction of new methodologies


  • Degree in economics, natural sciences, computer science or a similar qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in the areas of fraud and credit checks at an e-commerce company, a payment service provider, a credit institution or a comparable environment, with knowledge of relevant instruments for credit management and fraud prevention
  • Experience in the management, strategic development and structuring of teams, ideally in the area of fraud and credit checks
  • Ability to work independently and to maintain an overview even with a large number of complex processes
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Ability to work in a team and good communication skills to collaborate effectively with other stakeholders
  • Compentency to argue, negotiate and persuade at different hierarchical levels as well as clear, respectful and target group-oriented communication
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
